Drew Estate has announced that its FSG brand, a partnership with Jeff Borysiewicz of Corona Cigar Co., will begin shipping to its DDRP accounts nationally.

The cigar, which uses tobacco from the Florida Sun Grown Farm in Clermont, Fla., debuted last year as an exclusive for Borysiewicz’s stores in Orlando and Tampa. Now, it will be offered to DDRP accounts.

It’s offered in its four original sizes, as well as a limited edition size that was originally offered at an event.

  • FSG Robusto (5 x 54) — $11.50 (Boxes of 20, $230)
  • FSG Toro (6 x 52) — $13 (Boxes of 20, $260)
  • FSG Belicoso (6 1/2 x 54) — $14 (Boxes of 20, $280)
  • FSG Sixty (6 x 60) — $15 (Boxes of 20, $300)
  • FSG Limited Edition Toro (6 x 54) — $15 (Boxes of 10, $150)

The four original sizes use a Brazilian mata fina wrapper, a Honduran habano binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua as well as the Florida sun grown. The Toro uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Mexican binder and Hondura, Nicaragua and Florida fillers.

Borysiewicz harvested his first crop in 2013, more than 35 years after the last Florida tobacco farm closed. Since then, his farming operations have expanded to include both tobacco as well as watermelons.

“Since 2010 I’ve pioneered the resurgence of Florida tobacco believing that consumers in the United States would be excited to bring American tobacco agriculture back to the forefront,” said Borysiewicz in a press release. “When I purchased the land for our farm, I spent countless hours analyzing the temperature, sun-light, wind, humidity, and altitude that would bring my farm as close to the conditions of Pinar del Rio, Cuba as possible. These are very exciting times for this farm and for American tobacco.”

The FSG will begin shipping in late July.
