Drew Estate Adds Undercrown Shade Flying Pig, Tubo & More

Drew Estate has announced that it will be expanding its Undercrown portfolio, including four extensions to Undercrown Shade and two extensions to the original Undercrown line.

Both lines will receive 10-count metal tins, which contain 10 4 x 32 petite coronas priced at $18 per tin, and a Tubo, a 6 x 50 sized priced at $10.25 in the original line and $10.56 in Undercrown Shade.

In addition, Undercrown Shade will also receive a Flying Pig (3 15/16 x 60, $12.88) and a Churchill (7 x 48, $9.27).

Undercrown Shade uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Sumatra binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It debuted last year in six sizes.

The regular Undercrown line uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Connecticut River Valley habano binder and fillers from Brazil and Nicaragua. There are eight sizes of Undercrown that have been offered for sale prior to the two aforementioned extensions.

“It was amazing to witness the release of the Undercrown Flying Pig exclusively in Holland, and how many boxes ended up back in States,” said Jonathan Drew, the company’s co-founder, in a press release. “Hundreds of consumers, retailers, and Media visited Cigar Safari this past year and were able to try the Undercrown Shade Flying Pig at our La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate. Releasing the Shade pig was a natural progression in the development of the Shade line, this Flying Pig really kicks ass.”

The new sizes will debut at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins July 25 in Las Vegas.
