At last year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Dissident Cigars indicated that it was working on a double perfecto for the company’s Soapbox line. A year later, they are making good on their promise.

Dissident Soapbox Shift

The cigar is known as SHIFT, a 6 x 44/60 double perfecto made in the company’s Soapbox line.

It’s the same blend as the regular Soapbox, meaning it’s a Nicaraguan puro with a Jalapa wrapper, Estelí binder and fillers from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa. Pricing is set at $12 and the cigar will come in boxes of 20, which will begin shipping immediately following this year’s trade show, which begins July 17 in New Orleans, La.

This is the last planned regular production for Soapbox, although there could be store exclusives or limited projects in the future.
