Next month, the Davidoff Year of the Ox is expected to arrive at stores worldwide. For the second time in the Davidoff Zodiac Series history, it will be a 6 x 60.

The Davidoff Limited Edition 2021 Year of the Ox will be a 6 x 60 gordo that uses a Dominican wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatran binder and five different fillers:

  • Dominican Republic Piloto Viso
  • Dominican Republic San Vicente Mejorado Viso
  • Dominican Republic Yamasá Viso
  • Nicaragua Condega Viso
  • Nicaragua Estelí Viso

Pricing is set at $40 per cigar or $400 per box of 10.

It will be limited to 13,500 boxes worldwide, making it the largest release in Davidoff’s Zodiac Series to date. Since 2011, the company has created a different cigar each year to honor the upcoming Chinese zodiac symbol for the proceeding year. The cigars are released in November, just in time for the holiday shopping season and before Chinese New Year, which takes place in February. Of note, the first release—the Year of the Dragon—was a regional release that is quite different than the rest of the series, which has used red and gold colors prominently and been released worldwide.

As in years past, there will be limited edition pipe tobacco and cigar accessories to coincide with the release.

Those cigar accessories include:

  • Davidoff Year of the Ox Ashtray — $395
  • Davidoff Year of the Ox Jet Flame Lighter — $300
  • Davidoff Year of the Ox Double Blade Cutter — $300

Each item is limited to 200 pieces.
