At Art Basel Miami, which opened today, Davidoff showed off the conclusion to its Cave de Paille humidor collection, Saison III.

The humidors are done in collaboration with French artist Lison de Caunes  who is known for her use of straw. Each of the three humidors in the sires has been made using as much 1,000 individual pieces of straw. Saison I was green and invoked the growing stage of tobacco leaves, Saison II was brown, paying homage to the cigars wrapper and Saison III uses straws tinted in grey and black color to symbolize the ash.

The inside of the humidors are lined in okumé wood, which is noted for its odor neutrality.

Like the rest of the series, the humidor measures 16 5/8 inches x 10 1/3 inches x 6 1/3 inches. Davidoff says it will hold between 50-65 cigars.
