Camacho will be getting a new factory.
Oettinger Davidoff AG announced today that it has acquired 450,000-square-feet of land in Danlí, Honduras that will eventually serve as the new home of the Camacho, Room101 and Baccarat brands. The first phase of the new factory will be 185,000-square-feet, adding 60 percent more production to the current output of Agroindustria LAEPE S.A., the company’s current Honduras factory. Davidoff did not indicate when construction would begin on the new Honduran factory, but it did say that the current Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. factory, which has been 175-200 pairs of rollers, will eventually be closed.
The new complex will not only host a production area, but it will also be responsible for tobacco storage, preproduction and host a visitors areas for guests to stay.
