Davidoff Adding New Las Vegas Cigar Bar

The Davidoff retail expansion plan in the U.S. has another new location, although it’s in a rather familiar area.

Las Vegas will be getting another Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911 location, the seventh in the city. The new cigar bar will be located in Fashion Show Mall, which is located on Las Vegas Blvd. directly across from the Wynn and Encore hotels, but also nearby Treasure Island and the Venetian and Palazzo hotels.

It is once again a partnership between Davidoff of Geneva USA and the Arcella family, who owns the other Las Vegas locations. This one will be particularly unique in that it is not located in a casino and it will serve alcohol. The store will be 1,500-square-feet and includes a bar, walk-in-humidor and an outdoor seating area for up to 50 people.

“The “Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911” Cigar Bar will carry a full line of premium cigars for the traveling connoisseur and specialize in limited edition cigars to pair with the unique liquor selection,” said Matt Arcella, managing partner of Calabrini, LLC, in a press release.

“The ambiance and setting will be sophisticated yet unpretentious. In addition to bringing the pleasure of Davidoff to the dedicated cigar aficionado, we will also introduce Davidoff to a wider audience. Las Vegas is attracting a growing number of young and affluent consumers who come here for the phenomenal clubs, restaurants and shopping; not just to gamble. With our state of the art ventilation, lighting and music, we anticipate catering to this large demographic”

The new Las Vegas location is expected to open later this year. It will be the second new Davidoff cigar bar to open this year, following the planned Tampa location. In addition, the company has announced new stores in Atlanta, Houston and Lower Manhattan.

Davidoff and the Arcellas currently operate three walk-in stores in Las Vegas—the Grand Canal Shoppes (Venetian/Palazzo), MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay—as well as smaller boutiques in the Venetian, Palazzo, Mandalay Bay and Paris.
