Earlier this month, a trio of new cigars from Stephen Adib’s Cuba Rica began shipping to stores.

One comes in the form of the 6 x 60 Pele, an extension to the company’s Testarosso line. It will join the Topaz (5 x 56), while the Azar (4 x 56), Calida (6 x 56) and Fiametta (7 x 56) vitolas have been discontinued. Pele is priced at $10 per cigar and will come in boxes of 20.

The other two in the form of the Cuba Rica Limitada, a pair of limited edition cigars that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a proprietary blend. The L5 (5 1/2 x 54) will retail for $16 and the L6 (6 1/2 x 54) will retail for $18. Both come in individually-numbered boxes of 10, limited to 500 boxes of each size. Adib told halfwheel only 50 accounts will receive the Limitada.

Both cigars began shipping on Dec. 10 and are made at Tabacos de Costa Rica.
