The third release of Crux Cigars’ popular PB5 Limitada will debut next month at the 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

This is technically the fourth release of the blend, another size known as the Show Exclusive 2016, shipped earlier this year. The Limitada PB5 measures 5 3/4 x 54 with a slight press. It uses a Nicaraguan Engañoso wrapper, which the company says is proprietary to Crux. It said that when it started using the wrapper two years ago, it already was seven years ago. Underneath that is a Connecticut broadleaf binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

Production has been increased to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars, priced at $11.99 per cigar.

“We are humbled by the response we have received for the PB5, and will continue to develop unique limited release blends as part of our overall effort of building premium cigars,” said Jeff Haugen, owner of Crux Cigars, in a press release.

The 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 11 in Las Vegas, Nev.
