At the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Cornelius & Anthony will add two new lines, both produced at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Cigar Factory.

Cornelius & Anthony Venganza

The first is Venganza, a more powerful line from the company using an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It’s offered in four sizes: Robusto (5 x 52), Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46), Toro (6 x 50) and Gordo (6 x 60).

Cornelius & Anthony Meridian

The company will also be shown a reworked version of the Meridian line. it features artwork that falls in with the nostalgic branding the company has taken with its Cornelius and Daddy Mac lines. Meridian uses an Ecuadorian wrapper and Ecuadorian binder. The company’s marketing material describes the blend as only having Nicaraguan fillers in one instance and having Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers in other.

An email sent to the company seeking clarification was not returned.

It will be offered in four sizes: Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46), Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 50) and Gordo (6 x 60).

This is the second incarnation of Meridian. At last year’s trade show the company showed off a cigar that was to be made at PDR Cigars, though the line was released only in a very limited capacity before the decision was made to create a new version.

The 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 25 in Las Vegas.
