Following up on the releases of Angry Santa and Evil Snowman, CAO will be releasing Son of Uncle Sam, a special edition La Traviata for the summer. Sources told halfwheel the tweaked blend is expected to be similar to the 6 x 52 Radiante size found in the La Traviata line and will be priced around in $8 in boxes of 14.

The name draws inspiration from both Uncle Sam and 1970s serial killer David Berkowitz, better known as Son of Sam.

Angry Santa and Evil Snowman were released in November of last year, a pair of cigars that featured modified La Traviata blends with the Angry Santa based off the original La Traviata blend and the Evil Snowman based on the La Traviata Maduro. Success of the cigars inspired CAO to make further releases.

The regular La Traviata blend features an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, Honduran binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
