Late last week, multiple retailers began taking delivery of the AVO 2nd Movement, the Davidoff brand’s latest exclusive for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA). The 6 1/4 x 47 churchill follows last year’s release of the AVO Movement, a limited cigar released solely for TAA members.

The cigar is said to be stronger than last year’s version. Pricing is set at $11 per cigar or $220 per box and the 2nd Movement is limited to 1,500 units.

Its arrival is slightly early, Scott Kolesaire, brand manager for AVO originally told halfwheel it was expected to arrive in July. The AVO brand is produced at O.K. Cigars in the Dominican Republic.

The TAA consists of just under 80 retailers and 40 manufacturers. Each year, they come together to discuss issues of the cigar industry, partake in a smaller trade show and socialize. This is the second TAA release to be released this week, as the Padrón 1964 TAA Exclusive Belicoso started to show up at retail shops yesterday. Several other manufacturers have created new TAA exclusives this year, including the Angel’s Anvil from Crowned HeadsH. Upmann Bank NoteLa Flor Dominicana 707, My Father 2014 TAA Exclusive and the Tatuaje 2014 TAA.
