La Aroma de Cuba will be heading to Europe, just under a different name. For the past few years, Ashton Distributors Inc. has offered the EE and Mi Amor brands in Europe under a different name due to trademark concerns. Now, the company’s core La Aroma de Cuba line will be heading there known as La Aroma del Caribe.

La Aroma del Caribe

Six sizes of the line will be offered Rothschild (5 x 50), Robusto (5 1/4 x 54), Immensa (5 3/4 x 60), Monarch (6 x 52), Churchill (7 x 50) and El Jefe (7 x 58). In the U.S., eight sizes of La Aroma de Cuba are available. The line is produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua and uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers.

Ashton’s other notable Nicaraguan cigar, San Cristobal, is also sold in Europe under a different name, Paradiso.

Inter-tabac 2014 begins this Friday in Dortmund, Germany.
