Alec Bradley has previously declined to talk about new releases like this. The company is one of a host of manufacturers that have released a variety of new products prior to Aug. 8, a deadline set by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Any products released after Aug. 8 are subject to new pre-approval requirements from FDA before they could be sold in retail stores in the U.S. As such, many companies shipped a slew of new products to a small amount of stores prior to Aug. 8 with the intention of nationally launching them at a later date.
