The Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond is once again heading to stores.
Once known as the Diamond Rough-Cut, the cigar is a 6 1/4 x 54 parejo that is box-pressed so that the foot looks like a diamond. Plasencia Cigars S.A., which has produced a plethora of odd shapes in recent years, had the molds custom made just for the cigar.
Like the rest of the Nica Puro line, it’s a Nicaraguan puro.
“This is the third limited release of Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond since we first introduced this exclusive variation of Nica Puro in 2014,” said Alan Rubin, owner of Alec Bradley in a press release. “Its introduction further emphasized our role in the industry as an innovative, premium cigar company. Uniquely blended from all-Nicaraguan tobaccos and crafted to form its unique diamond shape, Nica Puro Diamond imparts a lush and exotic smoke that is rich, deep, and well balanced.”
Pricing is $8.50 per cigar—up from the $7.75 when the cigar debuted in 2014—and this release is limited to 1,500 boxes of 16.
