Yesterday, the latest from A.J. Fernandez began heading to retailers nationwide.

Todd Vance, national director of sales, informed halfwheel that the New World Connecticut has begun shipping. The four-size line is a follow-up to the company’s popular New World line that debuted last year. Like the original, New World Connecticut is priced around $6 per cigar.

New World Connecticut

It’s offered in: Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52) and Belicoso (6 x 54) formats. In addition, a 5 1/2 x 54 version was made for an event last year.

New World Connecticut uses a shade-grown wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from Brazil and Nicaragua. The other major difference between New World and New World Connecticut is that the latter is not box-pressed.
