Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana sat down with George Brightman of W. Curtis Draper and once again Jerry Cruz of Stogie Review was there to capture the video. As has become custom with the Draper’s gatherings, Brightman discussed the history of the company with Gomez and then an outline of what is to come.

Gomez announced the logical next addition to the Limitado line, the Limitada V. According to Gomez it will feature a Dark Ligero Sumatran wrapper and some Pelo de Oro, the latter of which Gomez first debuted on the Small Batch 4 last year. Litto described it as, “(a) very powerful cigar with a lot of flavor.”

While Gomez publicly said he did not have plans for any new lines soon, he is launching Chisel Tubos in the fall. It’s essentially a new line with three Chisels being packaged in tubos. The blends have not fully been disclosed but there will be one Maduro and one natural in each chest, both of which are blends that have previously not debuted.

La Flor Dominicana’s 20th anniversary is expected to see a cigar, likely comprised of aged tobaccos Gomez has set aside over the years, although no further details were discussed with Gomez, indicating the cigar was far from finalized.

In addition, the popular Icepick will return, although Gomez didn’t elaborate any further details. The Icepick, La Flor’s cheroot, previously debuted as an exclusive for Empire Cigars in Raleigh, NC.
